About me
Nice to meet you! I am Maya :) I have been treating as a naturopath since 2013.
Having been diagnosed with heart disease at age 8, I needed not only close cardiac follow-up throughout my childhood, but also antibiotics on a daily basis. At the age of 18 I decided to try a new way, after consulting my cardiologist we agreed to an experiment of stopping the medication. I've been without them ever since. I started to see that there is a connection between the things that go into my body (physically and emotionally) and has a direct impact on my health. The road from there to naturopathy was pretty short!
Already when I was a naturopathic student I worked as a writer and content editor on the "Naturopathy" website, which is the Israeli encyclopedia of naturopathy, and I discovered that I have a special love for research - so I also completed a master's degree in naturopathy and research (I graduated in 2020). There is a broad research base on them in treatment, beyond the knowledge and clinical experience I have gained over the years and meetings with thousands of patients.
I wrote my thesis on the evidence that naturopathic treatment for non-alcoholic fatty liver.
