Tuina

Tuina is based on presses and kneading movements performed by the therapist's hands, along the energy pathways which are called meridians and the whole body. The goal of treatment is to help restore damaged tissue to normal function, by circulating blood and releasing energy blockages and restoring the body to general energy balance.

The Tuina therapist's goal is to restore to the body and mind the lost balance, and to that end, beyond the touch therapy he will also use pressure on the acupuncture points (a technique in which certain points in the body are stimulated that promote the healing process).
